Field manual — FAQ

HLLV Tracker follows every Hell Let Loose: Vietnam soldier with public Steam stats — career totals, daily activity, medals and community rankings, updated around the clock.

How does HLLV Tracker work?

Open any Steam profile with public Hell Let Loose: Vietnam stats and it automatically joins the tracker. From then on, every tracked soldier is snapshotted every few minutes, building daily playtime and kill charts on top of the career totals from the Steam API.

How do I find my SteamID64?

It is the 17-digit number in your Steam profile URL (steamcommunity.com/profiles/7656119…). If you use a custom URL, simply sign in through Steam here — you will land straight on your own profile.

Why is my profile not tracked?

Your Steam game details are probably private. In Steam, go to Profile → Edit Profile → Privacy Settings and set “Game details” to Public. Then visit your profile page here: tracking starts immediately.

How often are stats updated?

Soldiers who are in game are refreshed every few minutes. Daily activity charts start recording from the very first day a profile is tracked, and the community leaderboard is recomputed continuously.

What does “claim your profile” mean?

Signing in through Steam proves you own your profile. You can then make your daily history private and pick a custom background for your public page. Your career stats stay whatever Steam exposes publicly.

Is HLLV Tracker official?

No. HLLV Tracker is a free community project with no affiliation to Team17 or Black Matter made by Norbex. All data comes from the public Steam Web API and enriched with additional information from our system.
